I founded Supfabric and I write the apps.
There are two reasons I write the flight guides on this site.
First, I fly often. Finding out about a gate change from the announcement, not knowing whether I'd make a connection, asking a forum whether I was owed anything after a delay — I've been through all of it. That's exactly why Fly to Flight exists.
Second, building the app meant reading the regulations from the primary source. Turning a compensation calculation into code required understanding Türkiye's SHY-Passenger regulation, EC 261 and the Montreal Convention line by line. How many euros at what distance, which right arises after which delay, and when an airline's liability falls away.
I haven't worked in aviation and I'm not a lawyer. What I do have is this: I read these rules until I could implement them. I'm writing down here the things I struggled to find while reading, and everything cites its source so you can check it.
