Account & Data Deletion
Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open Fly to Flight and go to the Settings tab. Without an active subscription the app opens straight to the subscription screen; the delete link sits at the bottom of it.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. That's it — your account and all data are permanently erased.
Tip: if you'd like a copy of your data first, use Settings → My data for a machine-readable export.
What gets deleted?
- Your anonymous account and access token,
- all flights, trips and timelines you've added,
- every document-wallet entry and its attachments (files included),
- notification registrations and device pairings,
- your notification/activity history.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible; there is no "30-day grace" limbo. Only de-identified security and audit records (operational logs with masked IPs) may technically remain until periodic clean-up; these cannot be linked back to you.
If you can't access the app
If you lost your device or removed the app, email [email protected]. Because accounts are anonymous, to match you to your data we need your anonymous account ID from the Settings screen (if you have it) — without it, we have no way to know which account is yours. Requests are completed within 30 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription (it's tied to your Apple account). Cancel it on iPhone via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
